According to Foresight News, John Schulman, co-founder and key leader of OpenAI, has left to join Anthropic, a competing company founded by former OpenAI researchers.
Peter Deng, a product executive who joined the company last year and previously held product roles at Meta Platform, Uber and Airtable, has also left, according to a person familiar with the matter.
In addition, Greg Brockman, president of OpenAI and one of its 11 co-founders, will extend his leave.
