According to WuSaid, the exchange Nasdaq and the world’s largest asset manager BlackRock plan to trade options for their spot Ethereum ETF.
BlackRock and Nasdaq proposed rule changes to list and trade options on the iShares Ethereum Trust, according to documents posted on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s website on Tuesday.
The move is aimed at meeting investor demand for Ethereum products and positions. The SEC is likely to make a final decision on the proposal in early April 2025.
