In the first quarter of 2024, listed mining companies raised $1.8 billion, a three-year high

According to Odaily Planet Daily, Galaxy stated in its 2024 Bitcoin Mining Mid-Year Report that in the first quarter of 2024, listed mining companies raised a total of US$1.8 billion in equity capital, setting a record for the highest amount raised in a single quarter in the past three years.

Of the $1.8 billion raised, 75% was accounted for by the top three companies by market capitalization: Marathon, CleanSpark, and Riot.
