According to Odaily Planet Daily, the Securities Commission of the Bahamas announced that the Bahamian Parliament has passed the Digital Assets and Registered Exchanges Act 2024 (DARE 2024), consolidating the country's position in the field of digital asset regulation.

The bill builds on the DARE Act of 2020, which introduces comprehensive reforms to address changes in the digital asset and cryptocurrency markets. Christina Rolle, Executive Director of the Securities Commission of the Bahamas, said that DARE 2024 represents a new standard for digital asset regulation, focusing on investor protection and encouraging responsible innovation, making the Bahamas a leader in global digital asset regulation.
