According to Odaily, Drift has announced its decision to migrate to Pyth's new Pull Oracle. The announcement was made on platform X, where Drift stated that the price input will be updated from the existing Push Oracle to Pyth's new product, the Pull Oracle.

The current Push Oracle updates data every 400 milliseconds, but it experiences delays during periods of on-chain congestion. The new Pull Oracle, which was deployed on the Solana mainnet on June 17, is designed to update prices as per protocol requirements. This ensures timely price updates even during periods of congestion.

In addition to its timely updates, the Pull Oracle also boasts superior performance in terms of gas efficiency, historical data, and security. This migration is expected to enhance Drift's overall performance and efficiency.
