According to Foresight News, blockchain interoperability platform Connext announced that it has changed its name to Everclear and introduced a "clearing layer" for intent-based cross-chain bridges. Everclear also sold $5 million in Connext (NEXT) tokens to Pantera Capital in an over-the-counter transaction to support the development and implementation of the clearing layer.

Everclear is currently developing a Rollup chain based on Arbitrum Orbit, and its testnet is already running, with multiple partners such as Socket, Particle Network, Router, Enzo, etc. already developing on it. The mainnet is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2024.
