According to ChainCatcher, the open source L2 data analysis website L2BEAT has launched a risk framework designed to evaluate the security of data availability (DA) solutions. The framework takes into account the inherent characteristics of DA solutions and how they are mapped to the security properties of data proofs published on DA bridges on Ethereum from the perspective of Ethereum. In addition, the framework also includes a fraud detection mechanism category that measures the effectiveness of users' self-protection in the face of malicious majority members of the committee; proof security that evaluates the ability of DA bridges to verify data commitments without introducing additional trust assumptions; and an exit window standard that examines the upgradeability of DA bridges, with a particular focus on withdrawal mechanisms and the time allowed for users to exit when upgrading.
