According to Wu, Christine Kim summarized the 188th Ethereum Execution Layer Core Developer Meeting (ACDE). The meeting mainly discussed the following key issues: Proposed adjustment of the execution layer API to enable receiving transaction return data when obtaining transaction receipts; Discussion on the minimum priority Gas requirement. Geth defaults to a minimum priority Gas of 1, but this will exclude transactions below 1. Finally, developers agreed that the parameter can be modified at will; Pectra Devnet progress update. Testnet 0 was launched last week and preparations are being made for testnet 1. In testnet 1, EIP-7702 will replace EIP-3074. Vitalik recently proposed EIP-7702, a new transaction type that can support EOA to operate like a smart contract wallet during a single transaction. The last meeting discussed whether to use it to replace EIP-3074 in the upgrade; and the expected timeline for Pectra upgrades. Overall, it is expected that preparations will be completed early next year. There are also views that it can be split into two upgrades and then upgraded this year and early next year respectively.
