According to Foresight News, Web3 engineering, research and investment company Three Sigma has launched a new protocol zkAuth to integrate traditional identity systems into Web3 accounts. zkAuth allows existing applications to integrate blockchain functionality without requiring users to create new accounts or manage private keys. zkAuth combines Web2 identity standards with Web3 technology, using account abstraction to create a seamless user experience on zkSync. It relies on the OpenID Connect (OIDC) standard to verify transactions, simplifying blockchain interactions through familiar login processes such as social media accounts.
