According to the Odaily Planet Daily report, the Digital Finance Laboratory of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology announced that it will accept a donation of US$50,000 (equivalent to approximately HK$390,000) equivalent to MASK from the decentralized social ecosystem Mask Network. This donation will be used to support the laboratory's blockchain-related research and student activities, and promote research topics closer to the scenarios where blockchain can be applied.

Suji Yan, founder of Mask Network, said that their donation aims to promote education and awareness in the blockchain field to help Hong Kong maintain its long-term competitiveness as a crypto center. The HKUST Digital Finance Laboratory is an important stop for Mask Network Academy to promote global Web3 research and education. In addition, Academy also donated to Korea University earlier this year to support related student blockchain activities, and will continue to promote research and exchanges in Europe, America and Asia.
