According to Foresight News, the Public Security Bureau of Zouping City, Shandong Province, China, has successfully cracked a cryptocurrency theft case, helping a victim, Mr. Kong, recover tens of thousands of USDT, more than ten ETH, and several BNB coins from his BitKeep wallet. The total value of the recovered assets is estimated to be over 3 million yuan (approximately $470,000).

Investigators first examined Mr. Kong's cryptocurrency account transaction records and found that all transactions and transfers were completed by the account itself, with no signs of hacking. Additionally, all the stolen cryptocurrencies were transferred to a single account. The police later learned that Mr. Kong's BitKeep wallet was introduced and registered by his friend, Shang, who also had knowledge of Mr. Kong's wallet key. The police then established contact with an Israeli trading platform via email and received important information regarding the suspect's account login logs and Mr. Kong's account login logs. This led to the identification and arrest of the suspect, Shang, who is also Mr. Kong's friend. The case is currently under further investigation.
