According to Foresight News, the US White House has released a statement announcing that high-ranking government officials, including US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, convened AI industry executives to commit to the voluntary promotion of secure, reliable, and trustworthy AI development. Eight companies, including Adobe, Cohere, IBM, Nvidia, Palantir, Salesforce, Scale AI, and Stability, have pledged to undertake security testing before deployment, build systems with security as a priority, and earn public trust, such as through watermark systems.
