According to the Daily Planet, South Korean 3A game studio NPIXEL has disbanded its Meta headquarters, which was responsible for developing and operating blockchain games and new Web3 businesses. Previously, the department worked with Aptos to create the Web3 platform Metapixel, and is developing the Web3 game Gran Saga: Unlimited based on the NPIXEL IP on the platform, which is scheduled to be released in January next year, but it is currently expected to be difficult to advance.

The report said that the reasons for disbanding the Meta headquarters include cost savings, internal member conflicts, and differences of opinion among management. A NPIXEL spokesperson said: "The head of the department plans to resign for personal reasons, and the Meta headquarters also plans to reorganize, but no specific decision has been made yet."
