According to Foresight News, Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA) has announced its financial policy guidelines for the fiscal year 2023, which runs from July 2023 to June 2024. The guidelines emphasize the promotion of digital development and measures to be implemented for the advancement of Web3, including digital currencies and crypto assets. These measures include the establishment of a registration review system to support the smooth issuance and circulation of stablecoins, as well as encouraging the formation of self-regulatory organizations.
