About investing in cryptocurrencies.

I've read the posts posted by "locals" here on Binance and their expert opinion worries me a little. I do not claim to be the truth, but I must express some beliefs that will help beginners.

So, the first myth is “you should invest in cryptocurrencies for the long term.” They say that a certain Matthew dreams of becoming a millionaire and he must invest in a certain crypto coin in 2024 and return to it as early as 2030 and then Matthew will be happy because his dream has come true, from now on he is a millionaire! Now the whole world has submitted to him, he will happily reap the results of his 5 years of patience, which he invested along with his money in a no-name crypto coin, since during this time it has grown from $0.50 to $250 apiece. Matthew is cool. Matthew knows how to invest differently from us. He knows that long-term investing always outperforms traders over long distances.

So - Matthew is a fool, cryptocurrencies are not stocks, Matthew with a huge probability (more than 97%) will lose all his investments.

Look at the most popular assets over the past 5 years, have many of them survived to this day? No!
