MANTRA Chain and DAMAC cooperation: new progress in the tokenization of real-world assets

Background and objectives:

MANTRA Chain has proposed the vision of tokenizing real-world assets (RWA) through its mainnet successfully launched in 2024. The core goal of the project is to attract institutional capital and make traditional assets more transparent, efficient and accessible through blockchain technology. The latest progress in this goal is that MANTRA Chain has reached a cooperation with the UAE-based real estate giant DAMAC Group to start bringing DAMAC's $1 billion assets to the blockchain field and further promote the tokenization of RWA.

Joining of DAMAC Group:

As a well-known real estate company in the UAE, Amira Sajwani, Managing Director of DAMAC Group, emphasized that this cooperation will provide investors with a more secure, transparent and efficient investment channel, especially in diversifying portfolios through tokenized assets. Through tokenization, investors can easily access DAMAC's real estate and other assets without the complex traditional investment process.

Cooperation details and expected impact:

MANTRA Chain also reached a cooperation agreement with MAG Group and RWA Inc. in the second half of 2024, enabling investors to access DAMAC's diversified investment portfolio through blockchain tokenization, including different types of assets such as real estate, hotels, data centers, etc. The launch of this plan is expected to greatly reduce the investment threshold, especially for retail and institutional investors, and increase their exposure to high-value assets.

MANTRA Chain's tokenization plan aims to simplify the investment process by digitizing asset ownership, while broadening the scope of investor access. It is expected that this innovative product will be officially launched in early 2025, further promoting the application of blockchain in asset management and investment.
