According to ChainCatcher news and Bitcoin.com reports, Trump has launched his first NFT series based on the Bitcoin Ordinals protocol called "Trump Bitcoin Digital Trading Cards," with an initial release of 160 digital trading cards. This includes 100 trading cards from the previous "Mugshot Edition" series that NFT holders can claim on the Magic Eden platform. So far, 37 out of 119 available Ordinals have been minted, and the claim deadline is January 31, 2025.
This series is minted using the earliest "Alpha sats" from Bitcoin blocks, creating unique assets by engraving data on a single satoshi. This is Trump's first NFT series based on Ordinals, following the release of four "Trump Digital Trading Cards" series, including the "America First" series launched in August 2024, which features perks such as dining with Trump and limited edition gold Trump-themed sneakers.
