Bitcoin's Small 'Plunge' Reveals Mindset

Sometimes, a single sentence from you can reveal your level of understanding. Of course, today we are just chatting casually, purely having a light conversation, not getting too serious or critical.

Bitcoin has just broken 100,000, and then it took a nosedive, directly 'plunging' to 93,000. If I’m not mistaken, this should have happened in just two days.

In terms of value, it roughly translates to nearly a 10% drop, which would definitely cause extreme panic in the stock market or other investment markets. If you are a new follower of mine, or an 'old investor,' you should also know that this level of volatility in Bitcoin is nothing:

Just two years ago, Bitcoin dropped from $8,500 to $4,000 in one day, a 50% drop—what does that concept feel like, can you sense it? But I can say my feeling was that I felt nothing.

If you cannot accept Bitcoin dropping from $8,500 to $4,000, you will not be able to hold Bitcoin that rises from $4,000 to $100,000. Similarly, if you cannot accept today’s 10% 'plunge' in Bitcoin, it will be very hard for you to own Bitcoin worth $110,000 or even $150,000.

Here, I recommend you try meditation. Every morning after you wake up and wash up, find a relatively quiet environment and meditate for 10-15 minutes. During meditation, feel your breath, feel the air, let your thoughts calm down, feel the air entering through your nostrils, filling your chest, and then slowly exhaling.

Do not try to control your thoughts; of course, at the beginning, it’s inevitable to have 'random thoughts,' but you can feel this state and try to let these thoughts float by like clouds, not clinging to them, not resisting. Through this method, you can cultivate a 'bystander' mindset, maintaining calmness and clarity whether facing market fluctuations or the ups and downs of life.

How a person reconciles with themselves, meditation is a very good form of 'communication.'

I can understand the 'anxiety' of many friends on WeChat, but it is meaningless to express this to me. I can only regard your emotions as floating clouds appearing before my eyes, acknowledging their existence and allowing them to happen, but I can only watch them drift away.

Basically, friends talking about 'plunges' are likely those who have just entered the market for less than a month; if it were three months ago, Bitcoin was only at 62,000. Where does this 'plunge' come from?
