1) Is there a major player?
2) What is the narrative?
3) What is the risk-reward ratio?
4) When is the appropriate time to enter the position?
5) How to build the position?
6) What percentage of your overall position should this asset occupy?
7) What is the target price, and how should you sell it?
8) If the judgment is wrong, how to cut losses?
These are the 8 questions I always think through when I buy an asset, and I hope you all develop this habit.
