Chromia announced its priorities for Q1 2025 on Wednesday, emphasizing the development of AI tools that support blockchain to facilitate decentralized AI applications. Its roadmap also includes the release of the Postchain Python client and Neural Interface v2.0, as well as the Mimir mainnet upgrade.
The expansion of the vector database is set to launch in Q1, enabling developers to store vector embeddings on Chromia's L1 blockchain, thereby promoting the development of applications such as large language models and AI agents.
To enhance compatibility with AI-driven tools, Chromia plans to launch the Postchain Python client, which allows Python-based machine learning applications to directly integrate with Chromia's blockchain infrastructure.
Neural Interface v2.0 provides Chromia with extended capabilities, allowing it to serve as a memory and logging system for AI agents, further supporting decentralized AI development.

Chromia's Mimir mainnet upgrade is scheduled for the end of Q1, expected to expand support for blockchain AI applications and improve the infrastructure for decentralized solutions on the platform.
The company stated that its developments in Q1 build upon previous initiatives, including the launch of a data and AI ecosystem fund in 2024, which has facilitated collaborations with AI-focused projects such as Elfa.ai and Chasm Network.
