Deep Tide TechFlow news, on January 8, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin stated, "We really need to better prioritize in Ethereum core development. If I had to choose between 1) raising the blob target from 3 to 6, and 2) everything else in Pectra, I would choose the former."
Vitalik also believes that improvements to the EVM at the L1 level are important, especially through EIP-7701 to achieve the transition from EOF to full AA, and the introduction of SIMD+EVMMAX instruction sets with a moderate increase in Gas limits. Vitalik also mentioned that the team is developing peerdas functionality and suggested exploring a more ambitious version of peerdas. These technical improvements aim to enhance the performance of the Ethereum network and increase scalability.
