According to ChainCatcher, a 24-year-old Dutch law student was arrested for suspected crypto scams. The man called himself a "crypto banker" and caused about 300 investors to lose up to 4.5 million euros.
The man disappeared after his crypto trading plan failed, but was later arrested due to new evidence provided by the victim. He continued to recruit new investors, requiring at least 5,000 euros to participate and collecting 50% of the profits. The lawyer said his behavior was similar to a crypto Ponzi scheme.
