NVIDIA releases personal AI supercomputer that can run large models with 200 billion parameters.

NVIDIA today unveiled the NVIDIA Project DIGITS at CES 2025, a personal AI supercomputer that can fit on your desktop.

It brings AI computing, which traditionally required large data centers, to everyone's desk.

Project DIGITS features the brand new NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, capable of delivering 1 PFLOP (one quadrillion floating-point operations per second) of AI computing performance.

Designed for prototyping, fine-tuning, and running large AI models, it allows users to develop and run inference models on local desktop systems, and then seamlessly deploy to the cloud or data centers.

In other words, it can run extremely large AI models locally, capable of running large language models with up to 200 billion parameters.

By using NVIDIA ConnectX networking, two Project DIGITS supercomputers can connect to run models with 405 billion parameters.

Moreover, it supports the development and testing of AI models on local computers, followed by rapid deployment to the cloud or data centers.

In simple terms, it's like giving every developer a pocket-sized AI supercomputer!
