The compliant cryptocurrency trading platform Backpack has successfully acquired FTX EU, which holds the MiFID II license issued by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) for $32.7 million. Backpack CEO Armani Ferrante stated that Backpack will become the only regulated perpetual futures provider in Europe, with Backpack EU expected to officially launch in the first quarter of 2025.
