HashKey Europe, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange HashKey, has been granted a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license by the Central Bank of Ireland. This license allows HashKey to offer fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-crypto exchange services in Ireland. Ireland requires crypto service providers to register with the central bank under the European Union’s Fifth Money Laundering Directive (AMLD5). The MiCA regulations aim to increase financial inclusion. What do you think of the impact of this development on the crypto market? Share your thoughts in the comments.
