Have you ever been lazy, not wanting to move but wanting to make money and grow, yet you just don’t take action? In short, it’s a problem of lacking motivation.
Most people have probably encountered this situation. For this, I offer my understanding:
First, if you can still slack off, it means you have not experienced true despair. The more despair you experience, the more hurt you endure, and naturally, your motivation will grow stronger.
People in desperate situations will fight tooth and nail.
What is a dead end? It is a place where taking half a step back will lead you into an abyss.
For example, if you have 4 yuan left in your pocket, and no one is going to help you in the coming days, you will naturally find a way to create new opportunities, searching for new chances, like using 2 yuan to take the bus to the city to seek opportunities.
When your pocket has only 700 left, you might think, 'This is enough for me to live for 7 days.' Forget it, don’t think too much, just have a buffet first, then lie down for a bit, and stay in bed.
But if you use that 700 to seek opportunities, or instead of going to the city, you go to a more prosperous first tier to find new opportunities, wouldn't your chances of success be higher than with just 4 yuan in the city?
So people are just like that; even if you give them an escape route, they will still push themselves to a dead end. Life is wasted in this process. Once a person knows there is a way back, they will no longer give their all.
If you don't want to move anymore, go to the hospital to take a walk, or experience the life of a delivery person. Running deliveries in the wind and rain at four in the morning, delivering to several stories up, softly knocking on doors, and worrying about getting a bad review when you leave.
Imagine being broke and average-looking, trying to open a regular bank card. The front desk gives you a hard time, looking down on you and questioning your motives for opening the account. Then they make you sign various documents and take pictures at the counter. After an hour or two, you finally manage to get the bank's lowest-level card, which is still limited. When you ask the manager, they tell you that you can only get this type given your situation.
You may feel very angry, but you don’t dare to refute, fearing that they won't assist you.
Or think about how it feels to leave your hometown, to work away from home, to feel like a guest in someone else's house, or to experience the four years of preparation for the graduate entrance exam, only to have your spot taken away by a call from the parents of a rich kid who parties every day at university.
You work hard for your dreams for four years, only to have it shattered by someone else's phone call lasting a minute. You have no way to fight back because you are weak. You can only watch helplessly as your resources are taken away by others. You are weak; you can either stay silent or find ways to become strong. This is the law of the social bottom; no one will help you, the only one who can help you is yourself.
Feel this: you speak sincerely, use all kinds of compliments, just hoping your leader could help with a small task, yet you never receive a response. You think it's because they are too busy; in fact, they just read your message and didn't reply.
Having gone through all this, what is intrinsic motivation? It is the rebellious spirit within you that ignites your soul's fighting spirit.
Abandon fantasy and embrace reality. This is something I often say. You don’t need to care about anyone’s opinions of you because everything comes from within you. If you are strong, people will praise you; if you are weak, people will look down on you. To be honest, you are the main character in your own world, and you cannot disappoint yourself.
The name of my public account (Awaken Your Soul) is meant for everyone to awaken the part of their soul that is still asleep. Once you wake up, fear doesn't matter; move forward bravely and pierce through the clouds!
I was born with talent, and I don't expect you to be as amazing as the big brother.
But you must live for yourself!
Living is having value; everyone has their own value!
So you need to unleash your talents instead of wasting them. People waste away by just getting by every day.
You always think it's fine to take it slow, to wait a bit longer, and then an hour passes, half a day passes, a month passes, tomorrow follows tomorrow, year after year, and your life just goes by. You must understand that the human lifespan is very short.
In fact, being born on this land has already determined that most people will be confused and suffering, spending their lives in a daze, not knowing what to do, without a goal.
And those who know from birth what they should do are the ones who know their destiny early on; they are the dragons and phoenixes among men.
So you can see why heroes have always emerged from youth. Some people know clearly from a young age what they should do; they live like the main characters in anime, not confused, not consumed by internal conflict. It's not because they have some extraordinary talent; that is not the main point.
It means that their previous generations have already worked hard to obtain the winning formula for life, so these young people take their parents' tools and navigate obstacles, reaching the peak. This tool is something that ordinary people struggle for generations to understand.
So how can ordinary people reduce the gap with the chosen ones?
I have a method that can turn the gap between you into a narrow path.
This method is despair.
