Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin continues to attract attention with his cryptocurrency transactions. Since his wallet address is known, his transactions can be tracked on the blockchain. However, since Buterin has multiple wallets and not all of his addresses are public, the available information only reflects a portion of his transactions. Despite this, it is possible to track important transaction movements and general trends through publicly available data. Finally, Buterin's token sales attracted great attention in the cryptocurrency market. According to information provided by the on-chain data analysis platform OnchainLens, Buterin's sales of two different tokens attracted attention.

Vitalik Buterin sold these two altcoins
According to data from on-chain data platform OnchainLens, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin sold a significant amount of tokens on January 6. Buterin sold 505.4 billion ESTEE tokens for 116,306 USDC. He was also seen selling 340 LDOG tokens for 5.2 ETH 13 hours ago. The wallet address where these transactions took place is as follows: 0xab5801a7d398351b8be11c439e05c5b3259aec9b. Following these developments, there was no loss in the value of the cryptocurrencies offered for sale, on the contrary, the ESTEE token increased by 65%. This little-known coin, which ranks 3216th in market value, is currently traded at $ 0.00001015. Likewise, LDOG, which is traded on decentralized exchanges, increased by 71% to $0.00001445.

In addition to these developments, Vitalik Buterin’s statements also drew attention. In a blog post published on January 5, he emphasized the potential dangers of artificial intelligence rapidly surpassing human intelligence. Buterin warned that this could happen within 5 years and suggested temporarily limiting global computing resources as a solution. This temporary pause proposal aims to slow down the development of superintelligent artificial intelligence and help humanity adapt to it. Buterin stated that this step is only considered as a last resort, but is of great importance in scenarios where artificial intelligence risks are significant. He also stated that industrial AI hardware can be equipped with chips that require weekly authorization from major international organizations in order to continue operations.

Superintelligent AI is often portrayed as outshining humanity’s brightest minds, and this has raised concerns among tech leaders and researchers. More than 2,600 people, including Elon Musk and other tech executives, published an open letter in March 2023 calling for the halting of AI development, highlighting the profound risks it poses to society and humanity.
