The Layer 2 blockchain ZKcandy, supported by ZKsync, has completed a private fundraising of $4 million. Investors include institutions such as Wemix Pte. Ltd., Animoca Ventures, Spartan Group, Perlone Capital, Presto Labs, and angel investors from projects like Stacks, Analog, and Mittaria. ZKcandy is developed and operated by iCandy, whose subsidiary Lemon Sky Studios has participated in the development of several AAA games, such as (Nioh: Rise of the Ronin), (The Last of Us 2: Remastered), (Spider-Man 2), (Baldur's Gate 3), and (Final Fantasy 16). The project plans to use the funds to develop a Telegram-based EVM gaming platform, collaborate with intellectual property holders, expand its partner network, research AI gaming agents, and launch its mainnet in the first half of this year.
