For instance, the saying 'the strong get stronger' also has its counterexamples; while adding to a position in the direction of the trend is praised, it may lead to instant losses; conversely, adding to a position against the trend seems risky but can yield significant profits when the market reverses; trading with a light position is stable, yet many renowned traders have achieved their success through heavy positions. Therefore, trading cannot be viewed with a binary mindset; it requires a comprehensive assessment of pros and cons.
There are no standard answers in trading. Different trading logics and techniques vary among traders from different schools, which is also the reason the market can continue to transact. When it comes to following the trend, different timeframe traders define and understand trends in completely different ways; discussing trends without considering the trading timeframe is meaningless.
The key to long-term stable profitability is the continuous output of trading logic. Trading techniques, systems, and methods themselves are neutral, with no inherent good or bad, and whether trading is profitable depends on the user. The essence of the market is uncertainty; the core of trading lies in probability and defense. Techniques are merely tools, and when the goal is achieved, they should be appropriately discarded. When facing market movements and assets, calculate the probabilities of rises and falls, make necessary trade-offs and precautions, and adhere to your own principles.
All trading logics and methods have the potential for profit, but ultimately, they all focus on human nature. To reach the highest level in any industry, one must enhance their character. Trading is a form of cultivation; however, very few can comprehend and reach this level. The market is brutal, with 95% of people unable to see the essence supporting the 5% who see the truth. We should continuously seek the essence and cultivate our mindset on the path of trading to ensure steady and long-lasting progress.
