Golden Finance reported on January 6 that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated in a recent blog post that the company is confident it has mastered the methods for building AGI (General Artificial Intelligence). He predicts that by 2025, we may see the first AI agents 'joining the workforce' and substantially changing corporate output. Altman reviewed the two-year journey of ChatGPT, noting that the product has grown from 100 million weekly active users to over 300 million. He emphasized that OpenAI is shifting its focus towards the development of superintelligence, believing that this will significantly accelerate scientific discovery and innovation, leading to greater social prosperity. Regarding the 'lightning layoffs' incident last November, Altman described it as a 'major governance failure,' but also mentioned that this experience has made him a more thoughtful leader. He especially thanked Ron Conway and Brian Chesky for their support during the crisis, stating that without their help, OpenAI might have fallen apart.
