Deep Tide TechFlow news, on January 6, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated in a recent blog post that the company is confident it has mastered the method for building AGI (Artificial General Intelligence). He predicts that by 2025, we may see the first AI agents 'joining the workforce' and substantially changing business output.

Altman reviewed the two-year journey of ChatGPT, noting that the product has grown from an initial 100 million weekly active users to over 300 million. He emphasized that OpenAI is shifting its focus towards the development of superintelligence, believing that this will significantly accelerate scientific discovery and innovation, leading to greater social prosperity.

Regarding last November's 'lightning layoffs' incident, Altman called it a 'major governance failure,' but also stated that this experience has made him a more thoughtful leader. He particularly thanked Ron Conway and Brian Chesky for their help during the crisis, stating that without their support, OpenAI might have already fallen apart.
