Since we want to summarize this creative process, we must attach data and information:
As shown in the picture above, except for the first article which was published as a trial in 2023/10 when Binance Square was founded, the rest of the articles were published in the range of nearly a year from 2024/2 to 2025/1.
The overall data is 398 fans, and 127 articles have been published. On average, each article has nearly 2 shares, more than 2 likes, and 1,800 views.
In fact, I don’t know who I want to write this article for. Maybe it is as a summary of my creative process in 2024, or maybe I want to share it with my friends who follow me.
Creator basic information
As stated in my self-introduction column, I have worked in the field of startup incubation in the past (you can think of it as a VC incubator or accelerator). This experience helped me understand how to evaluate the business models or operations of new startups and startup teams. The advantages and disadvantages of the model (I have read countless business plans).
This kind of web2 experience is very helpful for me in analyzing cryptocurrency project documents, white papers and other information. Therefore, the content I created in the past year focused more on potential analysis of unreleased currency projects and airdrop tutorials.
So let’s get into what it’s like to be a creator at Binance Square, shall we?
The narrative structure may be a bit scattered, because I just hit whatever comes to mind, so I'll just take a look at it.
Unknown algorithm completely controls exposure results
Until now, I still don’t know much about the algorithm mechanism of Binance Square, but based on my own experience and observation, there are probably a few points that you can pay attention to (this is a personal guess and has not been officially verified):
1. Articles involving currencies that have been listed on Binance will have more exposure.
2. Article content will be more exposed when it is the market hot spot of the day.
3. When the article content contains links, the exposure is not high
4. Articles on unissued currency projects such as airdrop tutorials are not highly exposed.
Whether the creator's article will be seen or not is completely determined by the platform algorithm. Unlike other social platforms, if a certain friend likes or leaves a message, it will be pushed to your page. So as long as the algorithm does not recommend your article, your article will basically have almost zero exposure on Binance Square.
Exposure is concentrated on KOL accounts, such as those with certification ticks and medal marks
Let me start with the conclusion of this point: it is unfriendly to ordinary creators and amateur creators, and is not conducive to their growth.
As far as my own reading experience is concerned, the push feed is basically like the exploration area on the homepage of the Binance APP. The articles displayed are all KOLs with badges or certified media accounts.
This is very interesting. Some accounts click on their personal homepage and find that the number of fans is only 100 or 200, but they already have medal marks. I speculate that Binance Square may have invited these creators to post on the square, because these people usually have fan bases on other platforms, which are the so-called KOLs. This type of account will basically receive more push support no matter what kind of post they post. Even if they just post a few simple lines (which is, to put it bluntly, useless posts), they will get a lot of views.
Then later I discovered that some creator accounts were set up by themselves or posted on Binance Square just like me. Even if they had accumulated a lot of fans and discussions on social platforms, they themselves were KOLs that had been verified by the market and posted on Binance Square. The article basically has no views (that is, the number of views is at the same level as me).
Therefore, you will see that the number of views of useless articles posted by accounts with medals is completely overtaken by ordinary creators who are serious about writing and analyzing long articles. From this, I can think that Binance Square is not suitable for amateur creators to survive. Today Even if you are a famous and capable KOL, if you enter Binance Square to create on your own without the cooperation of the square team, it will still be difficult to gain exposure and accumulate traffic.
Binance Square’s traffic monetization channel is single, so why should creators create high-quality articles on Binance Square?
Let me start by saying that I am just an amateur creative, and my experience is limited to publishing my creations on different platforms in the past year.
Taking Binance Square as an example, although there are attempts to slowly add sources of income for creators, they are basically focused on "transactions." Of course, I think this is very reasonable. After all, Binance is an exchange, and converting traffic into trading behaviors that can earn handling fees is the core. (In addition, there are occasional essay solicitations for specific projects)
But based on my current experience, when I publish on social media platforms, in addition to gaining a wider audience, I also have the opportunity to gain cooperation from projects and exchanges. In addition, many projects will provide incentive rewards for creators, whether it is Token Bounty or airdrop points bonus. Obviously, posting on traditional social media platforms is more effective.
And from the perspective of increasing visibility, the basis for project evaluation is still on the social media platform, not Binance Square.
※I don’t know whether those accounts with medals or certifications are guaranteed any benefits or gifts in the details of cooperation with Binance Square. Welcome to add relevant information.
Summarize
Regardless of exposure or profitability, I think ordinary creators or amateur creators are absolutely at a disadvantage in Binance Square.
As far as I am concerned, the most I create in Binance Square is to insert an invitation code, but since I send it to every platform, I cannot confirm where the person who finally bound the invitation code got my code.
Other than that, there seems to be nothing.
In fact, sometimes I feel that writing analytical articles so seriously and publishing them on Binance Square seems to be doing charity. In Taiwan, we call it "power generation with love."
A big reason why I continue to post on Binance Square is my fellow fans. Some of them leave messages of encouragement for me, and some of them always give me likes, etc. Although I can't remember these ID names exactly, I can recognize some people who will continue to appear. Thank you very much for your support.
Binance Plaza was my first stop for creative writing, and it allowed me to realize my desire to try text creation, for which I am of course grateful. But maybe it’s time to try SocialFi apps or other social media platforms. After all, it’s uncomfortable to feel powerless when you spend time and carefully output analysis articles, but are unable to reap the benefits of unknown algorithm push.

But I guess this article won’t be pushed, and it probably won’t have many views.
