According to a report by The Block on January 3, Scatter's Chief Operating Officer Haiku (alias) resigned from their position at the Milady-themed NFT collection Launchpad and marketplace effective January 1. Haiku announced their decision in a post on X on Thursday, stating, "My work is done," and added that Scatter has become a sustainable entity in a very strong position, and that other work now requires their full attention. Since naming the platform in November 2021, Haiku has been involved with Scatter, initially serving as an advisor and later as an executive. They mentioned that while Haiku will not participate in decision-making or active projects in the future, they will retain a small advisory role to assist in emergencies or when the team needs input on important matters. An anonymous contributor known as Three has joined Scatter's executive team as the new Chief Operating Officer. Haiku said, "Three is a talented individual, an outstanding designer, and a natural leader. During their time at Scatter, they always stepped up to get things done, led by example, inspired the team, and performed exceptionally under pressure. Under Three's leadership, I am confident in Scatter's success." Haiku stated that they are now fully committed to the long-term success of the art group Oekaki Connect, which previously created Kemonokaki and other NFT collections.
