TechFlow reported that the Bitcoin Genesis Block was mined by Satoshi Nakamoto on a small server in Helsinki, Finland, on the afternoon of January 3, 2009 (Beijing time January 4, 2009 02:15:05), with a block reward of 50 BTC. As of today, it has been 16 years since its creation, and the total block height of Bitcoin has reached 877,566.

Satoshi Nakamoto recorded the front-page headline of the Times that day in the CoinBase data of the Genesis block: "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks." There was only one transaction in the block, and the block reward was 50 bitcoins.

As of now, the price of Bitcoin is $96,875.5, with a market cap exceeding $1.91 trillion.
