What is being cultivated in trading?

Any trader who values trading psychology will say that trading is a form of cultivation! So what are we cultivating while trading? I believe that what we cultivate in trading is self-discipline! It is the ability to control our emotions and our actions!

This cultivation may have some similarities with the practices in Buddhism and Taoism, but the core meaning is different! Buddhism emphasizes the emptiness of all things, while Taoism seeks harmony between heaven and humanity. As traders, our purpose in cultivation is simply to perform well in trading!

There are three purposes of cultivation in trading:

The first is to strictly execute the trading system according to the rules, allowing the system to make money for us.

The second is to enable ourselves to continuously learn and improve, allowing the trading system to constantly refine! Iterate! Evolve!.

The third is to enhance our character, aligning virtue with wealth, and safeguarding the wealth we have earned!

The so-called traders are talented! They have insight! I believe that this mainly also lies in the aspect of cultivation! Ordinary people need to work hard on cultivation, while they inherently possess or partially possess it! Just like the highest commanders in the military must be calm! Have rigorous thinking! Take decisive action!

So there is no need for mystique! Once we know the goal, we also know what to do!
