Analysts at Steno Research presented a bold forecast: by 2025, Bitcoin will rise to $150,000 from the current $95,000, while Ethereum (ETH) will show an even more impressive growth — from $3,400 to $8,000. The ETH/BTC ratio, they believe, will increase to 0.06 from the current 0.0357, reflecting the dynamics of previous market cycles.

Why will Ethereum outpace Bitcoin?

Experts are confident that by 2025, investor interest will shift to altcoins. This is partly related to Donald Trump's victory in the U.S. presidential elections. Analysts believe his policies will be more favorable for Ethereum and other altcoins than for Bitcoin.

Key findings of the Steno Research report:

🔹 Bitcoin's dominance in the market will decrease to 45%.

🔹 The total value locked (TVL) in decentralized applications will reach a record $300 million.

🔹 Institutional acceptance of cryptocurrencies will reach unprecedented levels thanks to the support of the new White House administration.

Interestingly, experts from Matrixport also recently discussed factors that could disrupt the long-term bullish trend in the Bitcoin market. Among the main threats is the BTC supply limit, which restrains its further growth.
