Pentagon Games, a Web3 gaming company dedicated to creating immersive virtual environments, recently partnered with Tron DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) to create a new digital world on the Tron blockchain and released its first trailer.
Pentagon Games said it is working with Tron DAO, a community-governed DAO dedicated to accelerating the decentralization of the internet through blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps), to launch a digital world on the TRON network.
Earlier this year, Pentagon Games raised $6 million in funding from investors including Animoca Brands, Binance Labs, Hyperedge, NFX, Polygon, Republic, Spartan, Tess Ventures, and Yield Guild Games.
Pentagon Games believes that decentralized immersive environments will enable community members to create and customize their own virtual worlds. Users can access them from any device (computer, mobile device or VR) to express themselves through immersive games and social activities.
Designed using Pentagon Games’ award-winning AR, VR, and AI-driven technologies, the on-chain digital world will mirror the practicality of a 3D marketplace, seamlessly previewing Tron’s ecosystem brands including virtual arenas, housing, leading KOLs, digital collectibles, and other partners.

Pentagon Games and Tron DAO have started cooperation
Novatron: Echo of the Rift tells the story of a scientist-turned-hero who is reshaped by a cosmic anomaly and given the power to warp reality. As he pieces together his shattered identity, Novatron fights to protect a shattered world. Novatron’s debut marks the beginning of the Blockchain Superheroes (BCSH) series, a trademarked entity under Pentagon Games.
This superhero series will become part of a larger collection of superheroes in a unified 3D world built by Pentagon Games in TRON. This large-scale experience will eventually incorporate gamification elements and drive closer interaction between the (Tron) developer and user communities.

The Tron network was founded by Justin Sun in September 2017 and has been running since the mainnet launch in May 2018. It also integrated BitTorrent, a pioneer in decentralized Web3 services with over 100 million monthly active users, in July 2018. Sun recently made headlines for purchasing a banana that was attached to a wall and passed off as a work of art for $6.2 million.
As of November 2024, the Tron network has over 270 million user accounts on the blockchain, with a total transaction volume of over 8 billion and a total locked value (TVL) of over $16 billion, according to TRONSCAN.
