🚀 Vitalik Buterin donated 50 ETH (~$170K) to the legal defense fund of Tornado Cash developers, Roman Storm and Alexey Pertsev. This is 25% of the total fund of $650K from JusticeDAO. 🌟

⚖️ Pertsev was convicted of money laundering, receiving over 5 years in prison, but will appeal. Storm and Semenov also face similar charges from the U.S. Storm has been released on bail, while Semenov has yet to be arrested.

🌐 The crypto community strongly opposes the sanctions from the U.S. Treasury against Tornado Cash. Two lawsuits have been filed by Coin Center and Tornado Cash users.
