As of now, Tether's total holdings have reached 83,758.57 BTC, with a market value of approximately $7.7 billion. This transaction includes 7,628.92 BTC received from Bitfinex labeled wallets and an additional 775.568 BTC transferred thereafter.
It is worth noting that Tether has frequently used the auspicious number '8' in previous acquisitions, such as purchasing 8,888.88 BTC in March 2024 and December 2023.
