Liquid Staking Tokens (LST) and Restaking Tokens (LRT)

In 2024, liquid staking gained momentum — over 33.8 million Ethereum (ETH) tokens were staked. The leaders were EigenLayer, Lido Finance, and Rocket Pool. They introduced the concept of Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRT). These tokens expand the capabilities of staked assets.
