FTX compensation preparations have begun! Payments of $16 billion will start on January 3, 2025, to its creditors.
Payments are expected to be completed within 60 days and will be made in stablecoins instead of the original cryptocurrencies.
A significant portion of these payments may flow back into the market, potentially becoming a catalyst for growth.
Note: Settling in stablecoins instead of the original cryptocurrencies will not cause large sell-offs similar to the last Mt. Gox fiasco, but will instead increase liquidity in the market.
