(Crypto Rumble) is a card RPG + match-three genre Web3 game built on the Zypher Network game engine, where the ultimate goal for players is to defeat the evil BOSS in the game.
Before each game round starts, players need to select three heroes from their hero pool to form their team, while also choosing different equipment from their backpack to provide certain attribute bonuses to the heroes. The game features a turn-based combat mode where players' teams take turns attacking the BOSS based on a three-match gameplay mechanic. Each time a block is cleared, the players' team will take turns attacking the BOSS. The more blocks cleared in a turn, the higher the damage dealt to the BOSS. Players must defeat the BOSS before running out of game moves, or the game will end in failure.
In the game, both heroes and BOSS have different profession attributes, which interact with each other in a way that some attributes counter others. Triggering advantageous matchups will greatly enhance hero attack effects, so players need to strategize their hero placements. Meanwhile, heroes also have levels and qualities; the higher the level and the better the quality, the greater the attack effect and rewards. Therefore, before the game starts, we need to understand the hero development rules.
Hero Development Rules
Heroes are the main character elements in the game, each hero has a level attribute ranging from level 1 to level 100. Each hero also has a quality attribute, categorized into three quality levels: Normal, Elite, and Legendary.
Hero Level
(Crypto Rumble) sets hero game levels from 1 to 100. As heroes are continuously upgraded, not only will additional skills and traits be unlocked, but there is also potential to enhance overall combat power.
Upgrading heroes requires consuming experience points and in-game tokens $GOLD. Experience points are necessary resources for hero upgrades, and players can earn them by continuously participating in game battles. $GOLD is the incentive asset in the game that players can obtain through gameplay, completing tasks, and other means. Players can also use $GP and $Diam to exchange items in the store.
When upgrading, the higher the hero level, the more experience points and $GOLD are required to reach the next level. The required experience points and $GOLD for different levels to upgrade to the next level are as follows:

Quality
In Crypto Rumble, heroes are classified into three qualities: Normal, Elite, and Legendary. To upgrade Normal and Elite heroes to the next quality, two identical heroes and a certain amount of $Diam assets (obtained via on-chain recharge) are required. Upon reaching Legendary quality, heroes will further possess star levels, ranging from 1 star to 5 stars. After star upgrading, a hero's attack power will increase by a percentage, and star upgrading requires combining three identical heroes and consuming a certain amount of $Diam.
As heroes' levels and qualities upgrade, players will be able to mine richer resources and rewards in the (Crypto Rumble) world and gain greater influence.
(Crypto Rumble) game is set to launch on the Zypher Layer3 chain Zytron Pioneer in November 2024, with airdrop blind boxes and other game assets to on-chain active users of the Linea mainnet and ETH mainnet. Players can participate in the 'Treasure Ark' event to earn blind box rewards by staking relevant assets (https://ark.zypher.network/).
