1. Focus, focus, still focus: All the super individuals I have seen who made a lot of money are, without exception, those who continuously delve deep into their own specialized niche.
Even when short-term opportunities appear in other niches, they can still hold their ground. This is easy to achieve in the short term, but truly super difficult in the long term.
2. No effort, no wealth: A common mistake most people make is overestimating their attention bandwidth, as if they can do many things simultaneously, only to later realize they haven't done anything well. I have also fallen into this trap; I used to prefer large teams, but in reality, when there are more people, the management cost is very high, and organizational efficiency drops rapidly.
3. Especially with small gains, I now prefer small but beautiful teams. Even if we only work on two or three projects for a while, we need to do these two or three projects thoroughly. I think @GCsheng has done this best; whether it's blur or ME, they have achieved great results. We don't need too many opportunities; we need to thoroughly exploit one opportunity. No effort, no wealth.
4. Stay away from anxiety-inducing people: You should stay away from those who create anxiety for you all day long. Anxiety is poison; it only distorts your actions and can easily increase the likelihood of making bets on opportunities that don't belong to you. For example, if you see someone making 2 million by chasing pnut on Binance, and then you can't help but chase high at a price of 2U, it’s unlikely you'll break even. Everyone has their own hitting zone; being able to hit the balls that belong to your zone well and fully capturing the value is already enough.
