that man is right, it's better to give children a fishing rod so they can catch their own food than to give them fish.

IN 1992 MY FATHER CHOSE THIS CUB INSTEAD OF A 7-METER FRONTAGE LAND ON VAN CAO STREET....
Thirty years ago, my mother once gave my father a handful of gold to buy land, but instead of the 55 square meters with a 7-meter frontage on Lieu Giai street (now Van Cao), he brought this Cub home, cleaning and polishing it, his eyes radiating an immeasurable pride.
Back then, my father had to wear a pilot jacket and a Chinese conical hat when going out. He would have a Cotab cigarette in his mouth, his left hand wearing a lighter SK, while his right hand was revving the Cub, zooming along.
His jacket pocket always had a handkerchief. Wherever he went, he would pull it out to wipe the bike, and when he got home, he would wipe it down again before bringing it into the house.
In those days, a motorcycle was worth as much as a piece of land, and yes, that handful of gold was valued by my father at 8 million VND, while the piece of land from back then is now worth 40 billion.....
He said: I crave land, but I crave bikes more, if I could go back in time, I would still buy that bike, it's been with me longer than all of you...!
