From CEX to DEX, from spot to on-chain MEME, the entire crypto market has long suffered from liquidity and trading speed issues. While the numerous exchanges provide more options for everyone, they also disperse liquidity. From ETH to Solana, although trading speeds are increasing and gas fees are decreasing, they still cannot match the spot trading of CEX.
How to have a better trading experience? How to enable MEME trading to achieve exchange-like speeds? It's both a pain point and a necessity!
1. DappOS Project Introduction
Recently, dappOS launched an application for spot trading, and through the trading experience of $cheems and $GOAT, this project has impressed me more and more. It is not a traditional dex or cex, but a resource integration tool built on top of both.
In theory, when the functionality develops and matures, any token asset in the entire crypto market that can be traded, whether it's secondary market or MEME, can provide us with one-click proxy services. You don't need to consider what chain the token is on, nor do you need to worry about slippage; leave the hassle to dappOS, and what you want to buy is what you get!
2. Project Innovations
1. Reduce the concept of public chains
This is a summary based on my actual experience, and I believe it's the biggest difference between dex and cex. The dappOS wallet is essentially your Binance web3 wallet; it has only one address. You can deposit assets from any EVM chain (such as BNB, OPBNB, L2 chains, etc.) to this address without cross-chain recharging, effectively unifying all EVM chains.
Just like how Qin Shi Huang unified the six states, standardizing writing and roads, reducing the concept of the six states. dappOS does not distinguish between what ETH mainnet, what ARB, OP chains, etc.; it has diminished the compulsory requirement that wallet assets and the tokens to be bought must be on the same public chain. It allows you to achieve a convenient experience like CEX on-chain.
2. Rapid order matching
The process of purchasing tokens on-chain is simply exchanging the tokens in your wallet with those in someone else's wallet through a swap platform. If you want to buy a token for 10U, whether this exchange can be executed depends on whether the platform has enough sell orders at the price you want to buy and whether you can complete the transaction. The trading speed is largely dependent on whether enough gas is spent and whether the slippage is large enough.
Currently, products dedicated to rapid trading in the market, such as Telegram bot, or trading platforms like dexx, mainly use smart matching of slippage and gas. Ultimately, it is still optimizing the set of dex exchanges; if you want to accelerate, money paves the way.
You can think of dappOS as a combination of CEX and DEX.
Assuming you want to buy 100U of $A tokens at a price of 10U, and there is another person selling 50U of $A tokens at the same price. If both of you are trading on intentEX, the system will directly match you both at the 10U position to complete a 50U transaction. It first matches the orders and then goes on-chain to produce blocks, so for the vast majority of trades, it is executed at lightning speed.
3. Liquidity Aggregator Tool
In the previous example, let's discuss what will happen to the other 50U.
If the trading depth on intentEX does not meet your trading needs, the system will automatically find matching 50U orders for you on major trading platforms to execute trades. This ensures that liquidity distributed across different exchanges can be aggregated, reducing the price differences of tokens between exchanges.
In summary, the direct matching of trading pairs on intentEX is the CEX model. Matching with other liquidity markets is the DEX model. Therefore, I say it is a tool that unifies two trading models, a magical tool that aggregates different liquidity in the crypto market, which can truly solve the current problem of liquidity dispersion in the crypto market.
3. dappOS Airdrop Tutorial for Binance Web3 Wallet
This is another significant joint benefit activity between dappOS and Binance Web3 Wallet; the total reward amount for the event is 300,000 U, with approximately 50,000 actual participants, meaning each person can get about 6U-8U (the exact amount depends on the final number of participants) from the airdrop. The operation is simple, and it is recommended to participate.
1. Open the web3 wallet, scroll down to find the 'dappOS Trading' activity, and click to participate immediately. Enter the task bar and click the yellow button 'Join Campaign'. As shown in Figure 1.
2. First task: Claim NFT. Click 'Complete' to enter the task content, select 'Complete Now'. Then connect your wallet by clicking 'Connect Wallet', and then click 'Claim'. Wait on the task content page for a moment, then click 'Verify'. As shown in Figure 2.
PS: 1. I found that I can claim successfully without recharging gas in my wallet. 2. If you can't access the website, it's a network issue; too many people using Quick Connect may have caused an IP blockage.
3. Second task: Trade any tokens on dappOS. Here I will mainly explain how to recharge the dappOS wallet. Click 'Complete Now' to enter intentEX. In the transaction section, find the '+' next to Bal. The 'Transfer' recharge method allows you to 'transfer' your various EVM chain assets from your Binance web3 wallet to the dappOS wallet. The 'Binance Pay' method allows you to directly recharge money from your Binance spot or capital account to the dappOS wallet. As shown in Figures 3 and 4.
4. Third task: Trade 10U of $Cheems tokens. Click 'Complete Now' to enter intentEX. Fill the token quantity to the maximum, and choose a sell order price that can be executed. To prevent insufficient quantity, it is recommended to recharge 11U. Click 'Buy Cheems' to successfully purchase the tokens. As shown in Figure 5.
5. Fourth task: Trade 10U of $GOAL tokens. Sell the $Cheems you just bought, click on the three horizontal lines in the upper left sidebar, and select GOAL. Just repeat the previous operation once. Go to the task content bar and click 'Verify' for tasks 2, 3, and 4. As shown in Figure 6.
4. Summary
This time, #dappOS launched spot trading based on its intent network, which is truly sincere. The tokens haven't been launched on exchanges yet, but they have already held two Binance essay activities and one web3 wallet airdrop event. This allows everyone to use #BinanceWeb3Wallet to experience intentEX while also earning money. In this activity, I tested that the total fee loss + gas loss was less than 0.1U, but the estimated revenue is over 5U+, thanks to dappOS's chicken leg rice.
The launch of the intentEX spot exchange also solves the issue of application instantiation of dappOS left by the first phase, allowing us to see an impressive product. This product has the capability to solve the problem of liquidity imbalance in the crypto market and also has the ability to unify the cross-chain trading issues of various cumbersome public chains in the EVM. This attitude of leaving the troubles to itself while providing convenience to the user really makes me have a good impression of dappOS.
I hope the project improves quickly, and that intentEX can launch more types of trades and connect with more exchanges, ultimately becoming a true liquidity aggregator in the crypto market. I also suggest that intentEX can refer to dexx, not just focusing on secondary markets, but also integrating the MEME market to create a truly unified product!
