PANews reported on December 25 that, according to official news, the whitelist application for the N3 Compute Network testnet, a high-performance computing test network of Network3, has been opened and will start staking mining on December 26 at 8:00 am (GMT+8). High-performance GPU providers can participate in staking mining while earning rental income. GPU renters can acquire high-performance computing power at an average cost that is 50% lower than market prices. Computing power owners, developers, or institutions can apply for the whitelist through official channels. In addition, the platform plans to open joint mining features to users without high-performance GPU devices in the future, allowing users to participate in staking to earn token rewards. It is reported that Network3 has started a Pre-TGE airdrop event and plans to launch on multiple well-known exchanges in January next year.

The launch of the N3 Compute Network marks a further improvement of Network3 in the field of decentralized Edge AI infrastructure. It upgrades from the inference of small model applications of Edge AI to supporting compute-intensive tasks such as training, fine-tuning, and data processing for medium and large AI models.
