The Constitutional Court of Montenegro rejected Do Kwon's appeal, co-founder of Terraform Labs and a key figure in TerraUSD (UST) and the collapse of Luna.
Kwon's attempts to fight the proceedings were thwarted by a court ruling on December 24, which upheld the authority of the Minister of Justice regarding extradition.
Kwon filed an appeal and challenged the Supreme Court's verdict, which blocked his transport to South Korea, delegating the extradition decision to Minister of Justice Bojan Božović.
The Constitutional Court rejected these motions, allowing the Minister of Justice to decide Kwon's fate.
Local sources report that Montenegro may extradite him to the USA instead of South Korea, while experts cite national interests.
Kwon, suspected of causing $34 billion in damages due to the Terra-Luna crash, fled South Korea in 2022 and is under investigation.
