From liquidation to reversal: the true story of an ordinary person in the cryptocurrency circle
I used to think that the cryptocurrency circle was a shortcut to wealth, until that liquidation taught me a lesson.
Three years ago, the bull market was crazy, and I entered the cryptocurrency circle with 100,000 yuan. At that time, everyone was shouting that BTC could rise to 1 million, and even the air coin group was full of shouts of "the next wave of 10 times takeoff". I didn't care about calm analysis at all, and believed the nonsense of "adding more leverage and catching the trend will make money", and spread the principal into several high-leverage contracts, thinking that it was only a matter of time to make a fortune.
What was the result? Two weeks later, a big negative line fell down, and I liquidated my position twice. At the moment when the position was cleared, there were only a few hundred yuan left in the account. I was cold all over and didn't dare to tell my family that I couldn't even take out the money for buying vegetables.
This was the first time in my life that I was hit by reality and couldn't breathe. But it was also from then on that I began to really study the cryptocurrency circle.
I understand that speculation is always a game for only a few people. I started with spot trading. Although I had little money on hand, the small profits made me regain my confidence. I began to study the fundamentals of mainstream currencies and gradually understood the potential of DeFi, NFT, and GameFi. At that time, I bought some newly started UNI and AAVE, and tried to get the rewards of liquidity mining. Although the returns were not high at first, the accumulation of small amounts made my mentality much more stable than before.
The subsequent bull market completely turned my fortune around. ETH soared all the way, and my bottom position of $300 doubled 10 times; UNI also rose from a few dollars to forty or fifty dollars. I didn't rush to sell it, but gradually reduced my position and stopped when I saw the good. After this bull market, I not only made back the money from the liquidation, but also pushed my deposit to seven figures.
Looking back, the road in the currency circle is not easy. No one can get rich easily, and more people are dragged into the abyss by "greed" and "ignorance". But after experiencing the pain of those liquidations, I know that rationality, learning and patience are the key to my real turnaround.
From liquidation to turnaround, I am not the only ordinary person who has experienced all of this, but I am willing to share my experience to tell more people: If you can let go of the speculative mentality, think seriously and keep working hard, the ups and downs in the cryptocurrency world are sometimes the prelude to opportunities!
