What is “Intent”
Definition of Intent. Intent primarily refers to the final result that users wish to achieve. For users, they are willing to pay a certain fee to obtain this specific result. There’s also an important related concept - Intent-centric. This concept means that when designing the interaction methods for Web3 products, we hope users can directly achieve their intents without worrying about the specific execution processes or steps.
To illustrate intent and intent-centric interaction with a simple metaphor: imagine you are sitting in a car and want to go somewhere, that is your intent. In traditional interaction methods, you need to navigate, shift gears, press the gas, brake, turn the steering wheel, and even signal. However, in an intent-centric way, you just need to tell the driver where you want to go, and the driver will take care of the driving. You don’t need to worry about which road to take or how to operate the vehicle. This is what the project is currently doing - building a foundational infrastructure to help users realize their intents without needing to handle complex intermediate operations themselves.
The vision is to aspire to become the “Windows operating system” of the Web3 ecosystem. Our current core product is called Intent OS, an intent operating system that allows users to manage their assets and interact easily and conveniently with various DApps across multiple chains. Supporting all this is our Intent Execution Network. In Intent OS, every task submitted by users is transformed into an intent and submitted to the Intent Execution Network. Many professional service providers in the network are responsible for executing user tasks, and users do not need to worry about these specific execution details.
