Recently, some European exchanges have decided to remove Tether (USDT) from their lists, in response to the European regulatory authorities’ directives calling for the currency to be delisted from trading platforms by the end of the year.
However, no global decision has been made to completely delist USDT. USDT remains one of the largest stablecoins on the market, and is widely used on many platforms around the world. It is worth noting that the impact of these decisions may be limited for users outside of Europe.
If you are trading or holding USDT, it is advisable to follow the news and updates from the trading platforms you deal with, and ensure compliance with local regulations. It is also always preferable to diversify digital assets to reduce potential risks.
